We are often asked how does it work and how quickly can we react and how do we pay for the items you want to sell?

It usually starts with a call, email or message from a prospective client outlining what they have and where they are. We plan to respond to all such enquiries the same working day and usually encourage images to be sent to us so we can see what is being sold. If you need to raise money fast and need to see us quickly then please make this clear at point of contact so we can prioritise you. We then arrange to pop out and see you at a time and place of your choosing. This can be at your home or in a public place that you are comfortable with. Your consultant will carry an ID badge, business card and a DBS certificate by way of identification.

At the meeting we will carefully assess your items and any supporting documents – in the case of investment metals it is very handy to have any original purchase invoices to hand. We carry sophisticated testing equipment that allows us to verify most metals at that meeting. Once assessed we will make an offer which is for you to accept, refuse or defer – it’s totally up to you. If you accept we will need to have sight of some form of ID with your image and address on it – a driving license is ideal plus your bank details. We only buy by means of bank transfer and do not carry cash for obvious reasons.

Modern banking is wonderful and you should see your payment arrive in your bank with minutes. Once you are happy it is only then that we leave with the items just purchased. You will receive a proper Purchase Order to record the transaction. In total it’s a painless, efficient and fast process with most meetings taking less than an hour.
