How Does it Work?

The most frequently asked question regarding our service is "how does it work?" Of course this always begins with an enquiry from our Facebook page or website with a potential customer looking to sell their gold, silver and other precious metals to us. This is most often in the form of unwanted jewelry, coins, bullion or silver cutlery and similar items. If possible we ask that you send us images of the items, including any obvious hallmarks, by email or whatsapp / messenger so we have a good idea what is on offer. We then arrange to visit you at a time of your choosing to appraise the items.

When we visit we will carefully appraise each item and advise you exactly what you have and it's value to us paid for on the spot. We always try to pay a fair price for your items and do not leave with them until the money is in your bank. It's quick, convenient and a lot easier and more secure than taking your items into town or posting to total stranger with all the costs and risks that entails.

If you do not like the price we offer then it is perfectly fine to say "No Thanks!" - we will not be offended - it happens all the time. Sometimes the price does not meet with expectations or perhaps the actual act of parting with an heirloom is too painful. We completely understand and will never apply any pressure to sell.
