The cost of living shows no sign of abating – in fact there is a high probability that it will collide this November with some extra special pain to be inflicted by our beloved Chancellor of the Exchequer in the next few weeks as she tries to plug the black hole of her budget deficit. No good news to come out of that I suspect!

So with Christmas looming large on the event horizon we know that the good people of Devon and Cornwall are looking for ways to manage their own budgets and we are increasingly being tasked with helping out by buying unloved, unused and under-utilised assets they barely remember they have. Virtually every household has a small stash of broken, unfashionable or otherwise not required gold jewellery lurking in the back of draws, in attics and jewellery boxes. With the price of gold as it is even a modest handful of chains, rings and other items can be worth a considerable amount of money. The items in the image below earned their owner nearly £2000.00 which we paid them on the spot, straight to their bank account.

Remember we operate in the South Devon, Torbay, South Hams, Plymouth and South East Cornwall areas. Last week we visited Teignmouth, Torquay, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Looe, Liskeard, Saltash and all over Plymouth converting unwanted gold and silver items into money in the bank.
