A Busy Week or Two Kicks Off July 2024!

It’s been a busy week or so here at Devon Precious Metals as our customers look to take advantage of “Peak Gold” prices and to raise cash before the holiday season. Business is brisk as we continue to offer decent prices for unwanted gold, silver and platinum to clients in the Plymouth, Plymstock, Plympton, Ivybridge and wider travel to work area of our fair city. With the price of gold looking to be reaching its upper level many are realising that now is maybe the time to cash in those items gathering dust in a draw.

Cashing in gold Sovereign’s and bullion seems to be something of a theme at the moment – it never ceases to surprise us how many have a few gold coins or bars stashed away – either part of a planned investment strategy or as perhaps inherited. In any case we are keen buyers of Sovereigns, Britannias, Krugerands or any other gold coins. This week saw a small glut of silver and platinum coins too and we are always happy to buy as many as you have. We were pretty busy in Wembury and Yealmpton of late converting coins into cash!

Gold and silver jewellery remains a constant them of course – with precious metal prices as they are your unfashionable or otherwise unwanted jewellery items have a good value – usually above and beyond their original purchase price so if you have anything that you no longer need then please get in touch and we will see if we can turn it into some spending money for you!
